If you were a Manchester United fan growing up in the 1990s you weren't just blessed with great football, but also a host of great shirts too. Adam McKola was one of those 90s fans, and it was great to hear his memories of former Old Trafford greats.

We caught up with Adam, host of Full Time Devils to talk about laced Manchester United shirts, winning the Champions League and Andy Cole scoring in the Nou Camp.

What was your first football shirt?

The Manchester United home kit of 1992/93 season, collars and the laces. Was a beautiful kit and still to this day is one of my favourite football kits. That team was one of my favourites too. Full of proper footballers, men… Cantona, Ince, Hughes, Bruce. It’s a kit filled with great memories and some of my earliest memories following Manchester United.

What is your favourite football shirt?

The third kit that year was also a beautiful kit (the green/gold), the kit mentioned above is also one of my favourites but the kit we won the Treble in was classy. The European home kit for 1998/99. Simple, classy with a collar and a gold shield around the badge. Which reminds me, I’m still gutted to this day about losing that kit.

    What is your favourite goal?

This is a difficult one but I’d have to say Andy Cole’s in the Nou Camp on the way to the Treble in 1999. Those pair of 3-3 draws against Barcelona are still some of the best games I’ve seen but the goal from Coley that day is one that will live with me forever. The telepathy between him and Yorke was at it’s finest, on one of the biggest stages against one of the best teams. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Thanks to Adam for speaking with us!
